As part of these educational systems, the “Managerial and Entrepreneurial Thinking” events or “Entrepreneurial Events” were developed. Those events included conferences, visits to historical sites (Delphi, Epidaurus, Ancient Olympia etc), visits to the production facilities of large organisations, career shows and various other educational activities. The whole educational activity was based on the arduous effort made by organisations and entrepreneurs who supported it and contributed to the improvement of the quality of education. The focus of those programmes was to encourage Youth Entrepreneurship. More than 1000 students attended those programmes every year. Panorama is the continuation of the ‘Managerial and Entrepreneurial Thinking’ events that took place at Athens University of Economics and Business for 33 years. The events have won recognition as an excellent educational activity that successfully supported students’ academic and professional choices. The goal of these activities was to bring together the academic community and the business world. They have won the acceptance and recognition by the business and academic communities. |
