Innovation Manager & German Node Corresponding Officer
Claudius holds a B.A. in European Studies (Maastricht University, NL) and a M.Sc. in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship by Technical University Berlin (DE) as well as a M.Sc. in Business Administration by University of Twente (NL). After his studies he worked as a higher education tutor to teach students how to develop business models and create business plans, in particular in the social sector. This was followed by a deep dive into the field of E-Government and E-Governance as he was working as a Research Associate at Hertie School of Governance. Here he also was responsible for the foundation and establishment of the national e-government competence center association (NEGZ e.V.) and he was the managing director during his time there.
Currently Claudius works as an Innovation Manager & German Node Corresponding Officer of EIT Digital. EIT Digital is a leading European digital innovation and entrepreneurial education organization driving Europe’s digital transformation (https://www.eitdigital.eu/). In this role he is responsible for the German Network with its EIT Digital Partners that range from Research (e.g. Fraunhofer), Education (e.g. TU München) to Business (e.g. Siemens). Before 2018 Claudius worked as a Business Developer at EIT Digital’s Business Development Accelerator (BDA) program with a special focus on innovations in Digital Industry and Wellbeing from 2014-2017. In this role he coached and supported several startups to achieve access to market and to faster gain traction in an international, competitive environment.
