Costas Troulos is an R&I expert and an experienced business coach with a special interest in technology companies and research teams that aim at the commercial exploitation of their inventions and technical advantage. He is currently a technology transfer consultant with the PRAXI Network, the technology transfer office of FORTH and serves as the IPR Helpdesk ambassador for Greece.

Costas has also worked at the business accelerator “ΜΑΖΙ ΣΤΗΝ ΕΚΚΙΝΗΣΗ” of ΣΕΒ/Hellenic Federation of Enterprises. Previously, he owned the business consultancy Broadband Prime born out of his doctorate research on public strategies for FTTH development, and was the Technical Director of Vivodi Telecoms, during the startup years of the service provider.

He has coached dozens of teams of world-class scientists and researchers and helped them in their early entrepreneurial steps. He was also a business innovation coach for the European Commission’s financing tool “SME Instrument”.

He holds a computer engineer degree and a PhD from the National Technical University of Athens. He obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Louisville University and he is a PMP certified project manager.
